This President and all the others before him till Pres.
Reagan; all were misguided. For not a one kept the
promises of former Pres Reagan; which brought about
the Taliban, and Bin Laden. We told the peoples of
Afghanistan we would stick around to help them with
the Russians and long after they had left. We did NOT
do anything but leave out as well. So this bred
discontent and anger towards the US. Then after 9/11 the
President sent us into that country to find and catch
Bin Laden. Well where is he??? We havent gotten him
due to the fact Pres. Bush would not heed the words of
his Generals, then goes and replaces them with those
who will say yes to pretty much everthing. We could
have went into Iraq but only AFTER we got the US
most
wanted crimminal who is Bin Laden, not Saddam
Hussin. Hussin was only killing his own people, and
had
nothing to do with 9/11. He himself was afraid of Al
Quida and Bin Laden.
Also, former Pres Bush had a chance to help the Iraqi
people to do their own house cleaning. There was a
coalition of Iraqies of most of the bands from that
country; asking that the US give them arms, medical
aid and
advisors including instructors. But he wass so afraid
he would bring back the cold war era with the USSR.
So
thats twice the Republican party messed up and finally
gottten us into Iraq.
Seems that the US has people doing things to help our
interests and then when they turn bad like Noriega
from Panama, the Executive Office gets their boxers all
in a bunch. Thats what they get for dealing with people
who are so mess up like Saddam was when the US
was helping him with Iraq/Iran war.
But Pres Clinton didnt do all that much better, but at
least when we went into Croatia, Bosnia ect. he at least
listened to his military advisors who knew better.
We should never gotten involeved in the Mid East at
all. Hope that the next President will remember that.
